  The murder trial of slain NYSC member Salome Adaidu took a chilling turn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, as the Nasarawa State High Court admitted shocking new evidence, including a video recording of her dismembered remains. Prosecutors in Lafia presented seven additional exhibits, strengthening the case against 32-year-old Christian Gospel singer Oluwatimileyin Daniel Ajayi, the primary suspect. A police officer, testifying as a fresh witness, submitted key exhibits, including a mobile phone containing footage of six polythene bags allegedly used to conceal the victim’s dismembered body. Prosecutors also displayed Adaidu’s severed head, reportedly recovered from the suspect’s bathroom and bedroom. Justice Simon Aboki adjourned proceedings until noon to allow the court to review the disturbing video evidence. The announcement was conveyed in a statement issued on March 19, 2025, where the company explained that its Naira-denominated sales have exceeded the value of Naira-priced crude it has received so far.
